По роду службы нужна камера для видеоотчетов. Для себя нужна была камера для быстрой репортажной съемки (увидел-снял-закачал с телефона в интернет). Желания таскать полноценный камкордер нету, предпочитаю не обременять себя даже сумкой, поэтому обожаю вещи, которые влезают в карманы. Возникает вопрос: чем не устраивает камера в смартфоне? Ответ: если снимать смартфоном, сразу будет понятно что снимаешь, а так как снимать мне приходится нервных людей при исполнении (и неисполнении), то малозаметная, почти шпионская камера — самое то.

Пробежавшись по развалам, остановил выбор на сабже c BuySKU.com. Привлек унитарный внешний вид без претензий на стилизацию под фотоаппарат или другие предметы (по закону приравнивается к шпионской спецаппаратуре и наказуемо). Заявленные характеристики: 1080p@30fps при 12 мегапикселах, сжатие MJPEG, инфракрасная ночная подсветка, запись на microSD (это критично) до 32 гигабайт, внутренний аккумулятор, зарядка от USB, фото 4:3 размером 4032*3024 пикселей, диктофон. Емкость батареи неизвестна, заявлена работа до 100 минут.
В предновогодней суете шло 1 месяц ровно, что можно считать удачей. Пришло в стандартной надежной сингапурской обертке безо всяких повреждений: картон, внутри пузырчатый пакет, коробка без повреждений.
Комплектация
Камера, шнурок для одевания на руку, мини-диск с ПО, инструкция, дата-кабель с разъемом miniUSB, зарядное устройство на 0,5 А.

Ставлю оценку «отлично». Камера плотно сбита, ничего не люфтит, не скрипит и не прогибается. Создается полное ощущение добротной вещи. Приятно тяжелит руку, но при этом необременительна. Размеры — с батарейку АА. Смотрим видео:
Управление, юзабилити
Ощущениями делюсь по итогам недельного использования.
Помещается в любом кармане, включая мелкий карман джинсов для зажигалки. Можно прятать в кармашки для ножей или даже авторучек! Без проблем носится в носке (проверено), что пригодится в случае, если съемка привела к проблемам. Помещается в рот (тоже проверено), но говорить, конечно же, уже нельзя, так что лучше совать под язык карту памяти. Карта памяти извлекается легко, ничего открывать ненужно, просто нажать на карту ногтем до щелчка. Вставляется аналогично — очень удобно!
Индикация режимов работы осуществляется тремя диодами красного, синего и желтого цвета. Диоды упрятаны внутри корпуса, для их обзора в задней части камеры сделано маленькое отверстие. В случае необходимости его можно заклеить чтобы не выдать камеру свечением.
Инструкция на английском, сначала думал, что не разберусь в комбинациях свечений и миганий, но в итоге все оказалось довольно просто. После включения камера по умолчанию переходит в режим ожидания: горит красный диод. Кнопка ON/OFF выполняет две функции: включает/выключает камеру и включает/выключает запись во всех режимах.
Кнопкой MODE переключаются режимы работы: видео-фото-диктофон. Соответственно, постоянно горят диоды: красный, синий, красный и синий вместе. При записи горят также, только мигают.
Инфракрасная подсветка включается долгим нажатием на кнопку MODE в любом режиме. Выключается также. При этом загорается и постоянно горит желтый диод.
Чтобы выключить камеру, нужно зажать кнопку ON/OFF до выключения.
Если заряд аккумулятора иссяк, камера часто мигает красно-синим диодом и выключается, при этом файл честно сохраняется на карту памяти. То же самое происходит, если кончается место на карте памяти. Если камера находится в режиме ожидания и ничего не происходит, она выключается через 1 минуту.
Данные пишутся в файлы .AVI, .JPEG и .WAV в одну кучу. Очень удобно, откроются повсеместно. Поверх фото и видео пишется дата и время.
Дата и время устанавливаются путем копирования на карту памяти файла с именем TIMERSET.TXT, в котором в специальном формате указывается дата и время вплоть до секунд, а так же устанавливается флаг — писать ли поверх фото и видео временной штамп. Формат задания таков:
20130104152630 Y — 4 января 2013 года, 15 часов, 26 минут, 30 секунд, записывать время.
20130104152630 N — то же самое, но время не фиксируется.
Не очень удобно, но учитывая аскетичность устройства, вполне годится.
Состав прилагаемого ПО оценить не смог, так как случайно сломал диск. Сейчас упрашиваю производителя прислать мне драйверы. Согласно инструкции, камеру можно использовать в Windows как веб-камеру.
Камере можно сделать ресет (не пробовал, так как не было необходимости.
Шнурок крепится с левой стороны. Это показалось не очень удобным — правшей-то больше. Да и сам шнурок коротковат. Лучше подыскать ему замену, я снял с фотоаппарата.
Камерой можно полноценно пользоваться во время зарядки как от сети, так и от USB-порта компьютера. Во время зарядки камера ощутимо нагревается, но проблем это не вызывает.
В целом к управлению, внешнему виду и качеству сборки у меня претензий нет, если не считать короткого шнурка. Все хорошо.
Съемка видео
На честный режим FullHD за такие смешные деньги я, конечно же, не надеялся. Картинка интерполированная как в видео-, так и в фото-режиме. Дневная съемка нормального качества, меня пока полностью удовлетворяет. Автофокуса нету. Стабилизации изображения также нету. Формат видео 4:3. Звук пишется нормально в помещении и ожидаемо неважно на улице. Простая рабочая лошадка. 4-минутное видео занимает 410 мегабайт.

Съемка фото
Фото такого же качества и размера, как и видео. Записывается на карту быстро ( я использую карту 4 класса), можно делать примерно кадр в секунду или быстрее. Размер файла при искусственном освещении примерно 650-700Кб. При дневном 1,3-1,7 Мб.

Запись звука, режим диктофона
Пишется ожидаемо средне, речь распознается хорошо при записи в помещении. 11-секундный семпл выложу позже — не знаю куда залить.
Съемка ночью
Подсветка оказалась слабоватой. Пробивает всего лишь на метр-полтора, то есть в полной темноте комнату целиком выхватить, конечно, не удастся. Но при искусственном освещении камера ведет себя уже достаточно хорошо (см. выше). Я тут ни на что не надеялся. Также на качестве сказывается отсутствие автофокуса.

Плюсы: легкая, неприхотливая, хорошо собрана, удобно управляется, недорогая, можно использовать как картридер и диктофон.
Минусы: режим FullHD с интерпляцией, средняя ночная подсветка, короткий шнурок.
Рекомендую к покупке для бытовых и непрофессиональных целей как решение, которому всегда найдется место! Снимает видео не хуже, чем смартфоны стоимостью до 7000 рублей. Можно использовать как скрытный диктофон. Возхможно, это применение кому-то покажется даже более разумным, а видео- и фотосъемку такие люди могут рассматривать как приятный бонус

ВСКРЫТИЕ ПАЦИЕНТА
Поддавшись соблазну, решился вскрыть. Оказалось, что задняя часть корпуса камеры целиком металлическая!
Батарея приклеена мягким вязким клеем прямо к чипам. К ней припаяна какая-то маленькая микросхема. Похоже, это контроллер и простой заменой аккумулятора при его деградации не обойтись.
Внутри обнаружен чип памяти Hynix HY5S2B6DLF-SE 4Banks x 2M x 16bits Synchronous DRAM, работающий на частоте 105 МГц.
Рядом Syntek STK2365. Если верить описанию производителя чипа, этот камушек способен писать видео в 720p на 30fps, а также делать 10-мегапиксельные фото. Поддерживает USB 2.0 (проблем со скоростью у меня действительно не было), распознавание лиц, автоматический баланс белого, автофокус и автоэкспозицию, работу с картами TransFlash и MMC.
